McInnes Wilson Lawyers have advised Murrays Coaches on the purchase of Queensland passenger transport business, Palmer's Coaches.
Palmer's Coaches, based at Miles in the western downs of Queensland, was started by Rick and Kim Palmer in 2012. The Palmer's built an impressive operation predominately servicing key clients in the mining sector.
For more than 30 years Murrays has been operating in Southern Queensland and now, with the acquisition of Palmer's Coaches on 31 August 2023, extends it services further into Miles and its surrounds.
The McInnes Wilson team comprised of Anthea Faherty (Principal) and Nick Wilson (Associate) advised the Murrays team on all aspects of the transaction including: due diligence, negotiating and drafting the transaction documents, facilitating the transfer of key contracts, advising on tax and duty implications, and attending to successful completion of the purchase.
