Georgia successfully acted on the sale and purchase of Tru Blu Beverages to global beverage business, Refresco Group B.V, which was completed in November 2022. Tru Blu Beverages (which has since been rebranded to Refresco Australia) is a privately-owned beverage manufacturer focused on providing non-alcoholic beverages to Australia's largest retailers and brand owners. Tru Blu Beverages employs over 400 staff and has three manufacturing facilities, located in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, supported by a distribution network with warehouses in all major Australian capital cities.

The client, a large QLD Building Supplies company, required assistance with the acquisition of two competitors parts supplies businesses.
outcome achieved
Georgia advised the client with the acquisition of the two competitors for a combined total of over $5 million. The transaction involved the purchase of two businesses, negotiations of several property leases including the option to purchase one of the businesses premises. Georgia assisted in all aspects of the acquisitions including the drafting and negotiation of the Asset Sale Agreements, due diligence and completion of the acquisitions.

The client, one of Queensland's most successful privately-owned portable building hire companies, required assistance with a long running shareholder dispute.
outcome achieved
Georgia successfully assisted with all aspects of the long running shareholder dispute including the preparation and negotiation of a Settlement Deed between the parties and associated documents to commence a member's voluntary winding up of the groups five entities. Georgia also provided assistance to the Groups accountants and liquidator.
