We are delighted to announce that Solicitor Natalie Donnan took out this year's NSW Final of the prestigious AILA Ron Shorter Memorial Award.
Natalie’s speech, entitled Game of Drones, examined the untested waters of the rise of the drones and the insurance implications. The judging panel of Justice Cliff Hoeben (NSW Supreme Court / Court of Appeal), Robert Kelly (Managing Director and CEO, Steadfast) and Noel Condon (CEO, AIG) were unanimous in their decision, highly commending her for the content quality and storytelling abilities.
Principal John Renshaw said “Natalie’s presentation was exceptional. She dazzled the audience and had them captivated throughout. The whole McInnes Wilson family is so very proud of her achievement. For my part it comes as no surprise having observed (without drone use) her exuberant application to every task. She is a rising star and we are excited about all that lays ahead for her”.
Natalie will now deliver her presentation alongside the winners from Victoria and Queensland at the AILA National Conference in Adelaide on 12 -14 October. McInnes Wilson are a proud sponsor of the AILA National Conference and other staff are quickly volunteering (not just from the Adelaide office) to serve as support crew for Natalie.
