Laura is a Special Counsel in the firm's Disputes & Insolvency team. She continuously draws upon her experience in commercial litigation, insolvency and reviews of administrative decisions to deliver timely, up-to-date and technical advice to her clients.
With a particular focus on restructuring and insolvency, Laura provides advice to companies and directors on insolvency matters and also regularly advises insolvency practitioners concerning all kinds of formal and informal appointments. She is highly-experienced in handling creditor-defeating transaction claims, public examinations and breach of director duty claims.
Laura has experience in large-scale litigation and the day-to-day conduct of commercial recovery, shareholder disputes, misleading and deceptive conduct claims, contractual disputes and misuse of intellectual property. Laura also has experience in the reviews of administrative decisions made by government bodies, at both the State and Federal Level. She is proactive and highly driven to provide cost-efficient and quality legal services to her clients. She is known for her approachable demeanour amongst clients and colleagues alike.
