Queensland’s leading law firm McInnes Wilson Lawyers is growing its operations with the opening of three new offices in Canberra, Adelaide and Melbourne this month. The firm will welcome 33 new employees across the three offices, including seven new principals.

Paul Tully, Chairman, said the firm’s new offices in Canberra, Adelaide and Melbourne are an important step towards achieving a national presence.

“The opening of new offices across three capital cities is an exciting step towards expanding our footprint nationwide,” Paul said.

The new offices allows the firm to grow its capabilities and better service clients’ needs and expectations thanks to the resources obtained with a multi-state presence. "The expansion also enables our firm to utilise our wealth of experience in a broad range of specialised legal services to provide a more comprehensive and accessible service to our interstate and international clients,” Paul explained.

“While our roots lie in insurance law, McInnes Wilson Lawyers is a full service firm and growth means we have the opportunity to develop and focus on better servicing other practice areas,” he said.

The new Canberra, Adelaide and Melbourne teams will maintain the firm’s well-known insurance expertise while also focusing on other areas of practice. Paul further elaborated “We have identified many opportunities in these cities, particularly in property, financial services, insolvency, litigation and corporate and commercial."

McInnes Wilson Lawyers has offices in Brisbane, Maroochydore and the Gold Coast; the firm first expanded into New South Wales in 2013, establishing offices in Sydney and Parramatta and recently celebrated its 40th birthday.
