Timothy Ceballos

Timothy is a Principal within the firm's Insurance and Commonwealth Government teams. He has over 15 years of experience specialising in insurance law, personal injury and compensation, administrative law, and litigation and dispute resolution. He appears in several jurisdictions, including the County Court of Victoria, the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Personal Injury Commission, the District Court of New South Wales and the Supreme Court of New South Wales

Timothy has been seconded to a major insurer and the federal government to assist with claims management, resolution of matters, drafting decisions, medical reviews, develop claims staff, and provide seminars and updates on legislative and regulatory changes.

Timothy was previously appointed as a sessional claims assessor/tribunal member of the Dispute Resolution Service of the State Insurance Regulatory Authority. In this role, Timothy considered the evidence in a claim and provided clear, concise, and well reasoned decisions with reference to the relevant legislation, case law and the insurance industry guidelines. Timothy is well versed in administrative law and the importance of procedural fairness.

Timothy has acted for uninsured landlords and self insureds involving personal injury claims. His professional and proactive service for his clients enables him to achieve results across all areas of practice.
