McInnes Wilson Lawyers' automotive specialist Principal, Anthea Faherty, has successfully assisted one of the firm's motor dealer clients in securing an initial debt facility of $10 million.

In securing this facility, the firm provided significant technical advice regarding funding arrangements and the structure for the client's expansion plans.

The work required coordination with a lender to navigate a variety of issues, including prioritisation and subordination of debt and with a variety of project stakeholders. The funds from the new facility will be used to assist the client's expansion and growth plans.

Anthea Faherty said:

"Our motor dealer clients are very busy at the moment, with a variety of transactions relating to debt, land acquisitions, acquisition of new talent and dealer principals, and some interest from offshore parties."

If you would like to see how we can assist you with your business expansion plans, please contact Anthea Faherty on 3231 0645 or AFaherty@mcw.com.au
