McInnes Wilson Lawyers has successfully assisted a long-term client with the acquisition of $23 million site for its next residential development on the Gold Coast.

Our team was instrumental in negotiating all aspects of the transaction from the establishment of the joint venture entity to the acquisition of the development site.

McInnes Wilson Lawyers advised on all aspects of the transaction including:

The negotiation and preparation of:

a Shareholders’ Agreement for the joint venture entity;
loan and security documents for the initial shareholder equity contributions;
a Development Management Agreement for the development;
call option agreements, property contracts for the purchase of the properties and security documents to secure the release of deposit prior to completion; and
ancillary documents for a lot in the development and funding deed.

Advice regarding structuring of the deal having regard to third parties' rights.
Assistance with satisfaction of conditions to the purchase of the properties; and
Assistance with completion matters for the acquisition of the properties.
