McInnes Wilson Lawyers has successfully assisted Hoozu, a leading influencer marketing agency and a subsidiary of IZEA Worldwide, INC (NASDAQ:IZEA), with the acquisition of 26 Talent Agency, an Australian talent management agency.

This strategic acquisition strengthens Hoozu’s capabilities and expands its footprint in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) Region, in line with IZEA’s global M&A Strategy The acquisition of 26 Talent marks a significant milestone in Hoozu’s journey, which was only recently acquired by IZEA.  

About IZEA and Hoozu

IZEA has been at the forefront of the creator economy since 2006, when its founder launched the world’s first influencer marketing platform for paid bloggers to create content for brands.

Over the past 18 years, IZEA has grown into a multi-national public company, serving some of the world’s top marketers and creators. The company has executed influencer marketing programs for half of the Fortune 500 and recently surpassed 1 million registered users on its influencer marketing platforms.

In December 2023, IZEA acquired Hoozu, Australia’s leading influencer marking company which serves the APAC regions most innovative brands including Bunnings, Emma Sleep, Super Cheap Auto and Ryobi. In addition to its core services, Hoozu has a talent management division called Huume that focus on representing influencers and creators in the Australian market.

  • Negotiation and preparation of the share sale agreement;
  • Assistance with due diligence and advice on Australian law;
  • Employment related matters including documenting employment contracts for key employees; and
  • Completion of the acquisition and all post completion matters.
