McInnes Wilson Lawyers Assists with South East Queensland Concrete Business Acquisition

McInnes Wilson Lawyers has recently worked with a client on the acquisition of a concrete manufacturing business in South East Queensland. The transaction involved the purchase of a business, assets and improvements, as well as three associated freehold properties.

The Corporate and Commercial Advisory team advised on all aspects of the transaction, including:

  • Negotiation of the business purchase agreement, asset sale agreement and three commercial land contracts;
  • Undertaking due diligence for all transactions and assets;
  • Negotiation and drafting of associated post-completion licencing agreements between the parties;
  • Transfer and vehicle stamp duty assessments; and
  • Completion of the acquisition.

The team was led by Principal Taryn Hartley and included Associate Dominic Ierna and Solicitor Jake Johnson.
