McInnes Wilson Lawyers has recently worked with a client on the acquisition of a concrete manufacturing business in South East Queensland. The transaction involved the purchase of a business, assets and improvements, as well as three associated freehold properties.
The Corporate and Commercial Advisory team advised on all aspects of the transaction, including:
- Negotiation of the business purchase agreement, asset sale agreement and three commercial land contracts;
- Undertaking due diligence for all transactions and assets;
- Negotiation and drafting of associated post-completion licencing agreements between the parties;
- Transfer and vehicle stamp duty assessments; and
- Completion of the acquisition.
