McInnes Wilson has advised longstanding client, RM Developments, and its investment management arm, RM Capital, on two distinct property acquisitions located in Gympie and Birtinya, with a combined project value exceeding $28.8 million.
RM Capital invited investors to participate in a project at McIntosh Creek, Jones Hill (Gympie), and in the acquisition and optimisation of a multi-storey car park and commercial premises in Birtinya. Both opportunities were met with strong investor interest, resulting in a combined equity investment of over $13.8 million from 33 wholesale investors.
McInnes Wilson supported RM Capital across a range of legal matters. The Corporate and Commercial Advisory team (led by Chris Davis and George Londy) advised on company and trust structuring, governance, wholesale investor offers and the preparation of information memoranda. The Real Estate & Projects team (led by Brian Schech and Alex Fung) managed all transactional aspects of the property acquisitions.
