What you will experience
McInnes Wilson Lawyers offers participants of their Graduate and Clerkship programs a chance to experience the day-to-day operations of a law firm and engage in some of the hands-on tasks you will be completing as an admitted solicitor.
You will experience first-hand what it is like to work in a professional legal team and play your own role in assisting with real-life cases. Both of these programs are aimed at building the knowledge, experience and confidence you will need to become a successful lawyer.
Graduate Program
McInnes Wilson Lawyers’ Graduate Program allows recent law graduates to complete a 12-month traineeship with the firm.
Clerkship Program
McInnes Wilson Lawyers’ Clerkship Program offers law students in their 2nd last year of study casual employment within the firm.

McInnes Wilson Lawyers' Clerkship Program is open to penultimate year law students (2nd last year of their degree) who meet the following criteria:
July 2022 intake
Applications open on 4 March 2022 and close on 15 April 2022.
January 2023 intake
Applications open on 9 June 2022 and close on 4 July 2022.

Register your interest
To apply for our Graduate or Clerkship programs, you'll first need to register your interest.
Only those registered will receive a copy of the Application Form and entry to the Online Submission Portal.
Organise your supporting documents
Along with the Application Form, you will need to submit:

When the application period opens, we'll send you an email with entry to our Online Submission portal.
With your Application Form and Supporting Documents ready, you'll be able to submit your application for consideration.
