Matthew is a Principal in the firm's Insurance team. He is an expert in insurance law and has acted for major Australian and International insurers, brokers, underwriting agencies and insureds.
Matthew's experience extends to providing coverage, defence, strategic and commercial advice, and preparing and conducting civil litigation. In addition, both local and international insurers have appointed him as their lawyer to handle catastrophic and sensitive claims.
At all times, his pragmatic and commercial focus is to endeavour to resolve claims at the earliest possible time. However, where claims can't be resolved, Matthew ensures the best defence and protection is provided.
