Pierce Carstensen

Pierce is a Principal of the firm's Family Law team, assisting clients who have a particular goal in mind that may not fit the traditional scope of family law settlements. He excels in working with client's other trusted advisors, including accountants and financial planners, to achieve results specifically tailored to the client's needs.

Pierce's view is that it is not sufficient to merely get the best result, but rather to achieve the best result delivered in a way that furthers the client's financial and other goals. His communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills set him apart from other lawyers within the industry.

Pierce demonstrates excellent communication and negotiation skills, which are crucial in family law matters to help reduce conflict and cost and to settle disputes before reaching a final trial. He is frequently engaged to produce Prenuptial Agreement and Cohabitation Agreements and is well-experienced in defending clients in contested parenting matters. Pierce strives to reach positive outcomes and settlements for all of his clients.
